As a member of doxoPLUS, you may pay up to $10,000 in bills paid and scheduled to be paid every month through an approved financial instrument for so long as you are a member of the program without incurring any additional individual transaction fees. From time to time, we may add or remove financial instruments from the program and we make no guarantee as to the number of financial instruments available. The program, along with Doxo’s other services, is currently only available to customers in the United States. If your membership ends, you may continue to pay any payable biller available on doxo but will be charged the standard convenience fee for each transaction. In the event that you pay a biller with a non-approved financial instrument or pay more than $10,000 in bills in a month, you will be charged any additional transaction fees which will be calculated and displayed to you at the time of the transaction.
Approved Financial Instrument List
doxo maintains a list of approved financial instruments that doxo may change at any time. For example, regulated debit cards and ACH money transfers from bank accounts may be approved financial instruments, but non-regulated debit cards and credit cards may not be on the approved financial instruments list. An approved financial instrument must be used in order for the payment transaction fee for the biller payment to be waived. While a member of doxoPLUS, you may make payments using non-approved financial instruments; however, you will be charged that instrument’s transaction fee which will be calculated and displayed to you at the time of the transaction. If while a member of doxoPLUS your financial instrument becomes non-approved and you have no alternative approved instruments, you will be notified at the time of your next biller payment. It will be your responsibility to find an approved financial instrument to use with doxoPLUS. If you cannot find an approved financial instrument, you may use a non-approved financial instrument and pay the related transaction fee, or you may cancel your doxoPLUS membership and it is your responsibility to do so.
Fees and Renewal
The membership fees for doxoPLUS are $4.99 per month. From time to time, we may offer different membership terms, and the fees for such membership may vary. For example, we could offer an introductory membership for the first month at $3.99 and all subsequent months at $4.99. Membership fees may be subject to tax and are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Terms. Unless you notify us before a charge that you want to cancel or do not want to auto renew, you understand your doxoPLUS membership will automatically continue for the membership period you have selected and you authorize us (without notice to you, unless required by applicable law) to collect the then-applicable membership fees and any taxes, using any payment method we have on record for you. If all payment methods we have on file for you are declined for payment of your membership fees, your membership will be canceled unless you provide us with a new payment method. If you provide us with a new payment method and are successfully charged before your membership is cancelled, your new membership period will be based on the original renewal date and not the date of the successful charge.
You may cancel your membership by visiting your account and adjusting your membership settings. If you cancel your membership, cancellation will be effective at the end of the current membership period. This means that you will have continued access to your membership for the remainder of that period, and you will not receive a refund of any membership fees already paid.
We reserve the right to accept or refuse membership at our discretion. You may not transfer or assign your membership or any doxoPLUS benefits. We may take reasonable actions necessary to prevent fraud, including cancelling your membership and limiting the number of billers you can pay.
Promotional Trial Memberships
We sometimes offer certain customers various trial or other promotional doxoPLUS memberships, which are subject to these Terms except as otherwise stated in the promotional offers. Trial members may at any time (through their accounts) choose not to continue to a paid membership at the end of the trial period.
We may at our discretion change these Terms, the doxo Users Terms of Service and the doxo Privacy and Security Policy, or any aspect of the doxoPLUS membership. We will notify you of any changes via the email address you have in your account settings. If any change to these Terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. If you do not agree to any changes, you must cancel your membership. Your continued membership after we change these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
Termination by Us
We may terminate your membership at our discretion without notice. If we do so, we will give you a prorated refund based on the number of days remaining in your membership. However, we will not give any refund for termination related to change in approval status of your financial instrument, conduct that we determine, at our discretion, violates these Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of the membership, is harmful to our interests or another user, or if you try to cancel your membership through your financial instrument and not through the doxoPLUS settings. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with these Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.
Disputes; Limitation of Liability
Any dispute or claim arising from or relating to these Terms or your membership is subject to the governing law, disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability and all other terms in the doxo User Terms of Service (https://www.doxo.com/terms-of-service). You agree to those terms by signing up for doxoPLUS. Without limiting the disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability in the doxo User Terms of Service (https://www.doxo.com/terms-of-service), our total liability under these Terms will not exceed the total doxoPLUS membership fees you paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
