How can I cancel a payment and get a refund?
For a short period after submitting your payment, before payment remittance starts, you are typically able to cancel your payment and funds will be returned to your payment account.
To check if payment can still be canceled, follow these steps:
- Log in to your doxo account.
- Select the biller for the payment you want a refund for, then select View Status.
- If the payment has not been withdrawn, you should see the option to Cancel Payment at the bottom of the page.
If the payment has already been withdrawn, please reach out to doxo support. We may be able to stop the payment from being sent, depending on the timing.
Please note that if the payment has already been sent and cashed by your biller and you would still like to request a refund, you will need to contact your biller directly.
