Reno households face bills 7% higher than U.S. average, spending 33% of income

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Household bills in the Biggest Little City are 7% above the U.S. average, according to doxo’s 2024 Cost of Bills Index Report.
According to the report, the average Reno household pays $2,284 a month or $27,406 a year for the 10 most common bills.
doxo says Reno is the ninth most expensive city in Nevada for bills and Sparks is the second most expensive. The average household spends 33% of their income on these expenses in Reno and 38% in Sparks.

- Utilities – $310
