Mountaineer Gas Joins doxo to Simplify Bill Delivery, Payment, and Record Keeping for its 220,000 Customers

Corporate Press Release

doxo Simplifies Customer Experience and Self-Service, Boosts Mobile and Online Interaction

Mountaineer Gas Company today announced it has launched on doxo, providing an easy way for Mountaineer Gas customers to receive paperless bills and to simplify their customer experience. With doxo, Mountaineer Gas’ customers can now receive bills and other documents, organize account info, and make payments directly from their free, personal doxo account – online or via their iPhone or Android smartphone.

“While we’ve provided online bill pay for several years through our website, the adoption growth of doxo has been more than tenfold of anything we’ve seen previously,” said Gary Barnard, general manager of customer service at Mountaineer Gas Company. “doxo’s online and mobile app provides our customers control and flexibility in how they interact with us. Feedback from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive.”

Mountaineer Gas’ residential and commercial customers can connect on doxo by visiting http://www.MountaineerGasOnline.com or https://doxo.wpengine.com/mountaineergas. Mobile access is also available through the doxo app.

Each time a customer connects to Mountaineer Gas on doxo, their bills and account documents are automatically delivered directly to their free doxo digital file cabinet – which can then be accessed online or via the doxo mobile app. Documents can be printed or downloaded at anytime, and easily backed up to the customer’s own hard drive or cloud storage service. Customers receive emails to keep them informed about paperless delivery of their bills and account documents. Further, with doxoPAY, customers can quickly pay bills, or set up auto-pay with user-specified limits.

“We’re pleased to see Mountaineer Gas off to such a great start, with thousands of new connected customers every month since our launch in July.” said Steve Shivers, co-founder and CEO at doxo. “They’ve achieved one of our quickest launches to date and are sustaining a terrific growth rate in paperless adoption.“

Where typical enterprise system deployments take months or sometimes years to launch, Mountaineer Gas was live on the doxo network in less than six weeks following project kickoff.  The ease of connecting with doxo’s cloud-based network focuses energy on achieving better service to their customers rather than complex systems integration. The Mountaineer Gas launch in particular was greatly simplified by coordinating the project with Chapman Printing Co. and Champion Output Solutions, both divisions of Champion Industries, Inc., their print and mail partner.

“Working with doxo is a great example of how complementary companies can partner and bring great innovation to market.” said Tim Dagostine, division manager at Champion Output Solutions, a Division of Champion Industries, Inc. “The flexibility of our systems made it straightforward to tie in to the doxo network – enabling us to go live quickly and achieve immediate results.”
