Snohomish tops all area cities for priciest household bills

SNOHOMISH COUNTY — Snohomish is the 11th most expensive city within Washington for household bills, according to a June study by DoxoInsights, an analytics arm of the automated bill pay company Doxo based in Bellevue.
An average Snohomish resident pays $2,765 per month on the 10 most common household bills such as utilities, insurance, car loans, and  rent or mortgage, with household bills costing 31% of their income. The total for Snohomish residents is 21.4% higher than the state average of $2,277, and 38.1% higher than the national average of $2,003.
