San Luis Obispo newspaper The Tribune cites doxo data

In a data-driven article with an original chart, San Luis Obispo daily newspaper The Tribune cites doxoINSIGHTS’ figures about local household bill pay spending. Reporter Kaytlyn Leslie writes:

In a report released Tuesday by bill pay business Doxo, an analysis of household spending data showed San Luis Obispo County residents paid $2,450 per month in bills on average — 29.7% higher than the United States average of $1,889 per month.

Leslie also compares how San Luis Obispo stacks up in comparison to other cities in California, and the state average as a whole:

SLO County residents pay roughly $112 less on their monthly bills than the California average of $2,562, and significantly less than the $3,151 paid by the state’s most expensive metropolitan area, San Jose, according to the report.
