At doxo, we’re focused on making it easier to live paperfree and spend less time paying your bills. Today, I’m happy to announce that you can now setup automatic payments — with some optional user controls we think you’ll love.
The basic idea is that you can put your payments on autopilot and setup payment limits to keep you in control.
Here’s how auto pay works:
When scheduling your next payment for a Pay document, you’ll see two new check boxes at the bottom of the payment window. The first box says, “yeah, let me automatically pay my Pay documents for this Provider.”
That second checkbox allows you to enable a “auto pay limits” for the Pay documents you receive. For example, my energy bill is usually under $200. If it goes over, I want to be alerted so that I can review and ensure that something’s not wrong. Once I review my bill, I’ll manually schedule the payment and go on my merry little way. Most months, I don’t need to look at my bill since it’s under my limit.
Every month, you’ll still get your email notifications when you receive new Pay documents, but it will indicate if that bill is scheduled for auto pay.
We hope you’ll like this new feature and are looking forward to enabling it across all the companies sending Pay documents on doxo. If you have questions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
